RATIONALE: To govern the accountability for campus vending and game machines.
|
|
POLICY: The Dean of Students is responsible for all vending machines on campus. No machines are to be place without prior approval of the Dean of Students. Machines may be placed on campus only under a competitively bid blanket contract.
The Director or the Oakland Center is responsible for all game machines on campus. No game machines are to be placed without prior approval of the Oakland Center Administration and Reservations Office. The game machine contract must be a competitively bid contract, separate from the food vending contract.
The University's Purchasing Department is responsible for awarding the vending and game machine contracts.
