Oakland University seeks qualified applicants for its Ph.D. program in Biomedical Physics. This program provides interdisciplinary course work and research opportunities spanning physics, mathematics, and preclinical and clinical sciences. Research is performed in academic and clinical environments. Major research opportunities exist in internationally acclaimed laboratories with emphasis on neuroscience, magnetic resonance imaging and neuronal and cardiac magnetism.

Our programs are highly funded by the NIH and other granting agents. Applicants should have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in physical, biological or engineering sciences with a strong background in physics.
