Dr. John Park received his PhD in philosophy at Duke University and will be an assistant professor of philosophy at California State University-Sacramento in Fall 2018. Dr. Park is interested in what theories of concepts in philosophy of mind and cognitive science apply to moral concepts. Furthermore, his work includes examining what implications his theory of moral concepts has for applied ethics and ethical theory. He has published works in areas such as ethics, philosophy of mind, and free will and in journals including Erkenntnis, Mind & Language, The Journal of Value Inquiry and Journal of Consciousness Studies.
