After earning an M.A. here at OU, Pam was honored to accept employment in the Department of English and The Honors College, where she teaches Business Writing, Advanced Composition, Writing About Literature and The Honors College thesis proposal course. Interested in all types of writing, Pam has also done extensive work as a writing consultant for Chrysler, Nissan, Global LT and a local automotive software company, Facton. Pam has published on the subject of Hamlet films and is currently co-writing an article on using classroom blogging in a self-narrative course. When Pam is not teaching or consulting, she is busy ghostwriting a business memoir for the president of National Lumber Company. Despite all these exciting projects, Pam will tell you that the most rewarding part of her professional life is working one-on-one with students, both in class and at the Oakland University Writing Center. She is dedicated to helping students improve their written communication skills and to motivating them to make the most of their time at OU. She feels that her new role as the associate director of the writing center will allow her to further pursue her professional goals in a new setting. For more information about her credentials, please see her CV.
