Awards season is in full swing, and a few members of the Writing Center team have earned some really great honors this year. Sherry Wynn Perdue & Dana Driscoll - International Writing Centers Association Outstanding Article Award
Awarded for their article "Theory, Lore, and More: An Analysis of RAD Research in The Writing Center Journal, 1980-2009."
Ashley Cerku - University Libraries' Undergraduate Research in Writing Award
Awarded for her essay The Art and Rhetoric of Letter Writing: How Letter Writing Manuals Have Evolved and Preserved Rhetorical Strategies Throughout Centuries.
Bri Dear - 2012 Writing Excellence Award in category Multimedia
Awarded for her presentation “Peer Tutoring in Reading Comprehension: The Importance of a Program in Your Elementary School.”
Aaron Perry - 2012 Writing Excellence Award in category Research Project (Upper Level)
Awarded for his essay “Retention and the Male Psyche: Compounding Issues in the Writing Center.”
