For 37 years, Richard Stamps, OU Associate Professor of Anthropology, has worked with students to expand their world view -- both culturally and academically.  A recipient of the Honorary Alumnus Award from the OU Alumni Association, OU's Teaching Excellence Award, and the Michigan Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities Distinguished Faculty Award, presents his last lecture, entitled "Reflections and Connections," before retiring from Oakland University.

Professor of Engineering Richard E. Haskell retires after a respected career that spanned nearly five decades at Oakland University. Professor Haskell’s research interests have included plasma physics, holography and coherent optics, pattern recognition and image processing, computer learning, and microprocessor applications and embedded systems. Dr. Haskell presents his Last Lecture as an OU professor, reminiscing on his long career.

Jane and Robert Eberwein, both Professors of English, deliver their last lecture at OU after teaching at the university for 38 years. In 1987 Professor Robert Eberwein received OU's Teaching Excellence Award. In 1988 Professor Jane Eberwein received the Research Excellence Award.
