Oakland University’s Six Fridays at 6 Summer Carillon Concert Series, which features carillonneurs from around the world, will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year with a series of outdoor concerts starting on Friday, July 10.

More injury prevention programs and increased helmet use are needed to prevent serious injury from skateboarding, says a recently published, first-of-its-kind study from a team of medical students at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

The Oakland Center is continuing a phased approach to reopening, and the latest news is that Subway in the food court will be opening on Monday, July 6 for lunch service. Over the course of July and August, Chartwells will be preparing to reopen more retail locations in the OC, with most locations open by the start of classes.

Less than a year ago, Sunny Khatter walked across the stage at OUWB’s 2019 White Coat Ceremony, about to begin his first year of medical school.

Today, he’s not only a rising M2, but the newly elected president of OUWB’s Medical Student Government Executive Board, and helping pre-med students across the nation prepare for what they hope will be their shot at taking part in a similar White Coat Ceremony.
