Dionysios Panagiotopoulos is an exchange visitor from Greece. He has been involved in the renewable and clean energy sector as a research assistant of Professor Jim Leidel since July 2012. Before he came to Oakland University Incubator he worked as an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece.
Dionysios has an undergraduate degree in computer science from University of Piraeus in Greece, also he is candidate for his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oakland University
At his time at the Oakland University Incubator has worked in several projects. His first job was update the monitoring system of the 10KW PV systems at the students apartments roof at Oakland University and to find the same system for the 50KW PV system at the Human Health Building. Right now he is working under the supervision of Professor Jim Leidel for a new PV mounting system.
