    Fall Semester Medication Administration Examination (MAE) Information

    Tuesday
    , September 2, 2014: Evening times (see below) Human Health Building (HHB)
    Bring photo ID; calculator (no phones); pencils; eraser; and NOTHING ELSE

    Medication Administration Exam I: Basic Soph 2 (NRS 210) and ASD sem 1 (NRS 280)

    Complete Module A prior to MAE.

    Report to 2nd floor entrance HHB for check-in @ 4:30 PM with photo ID

    Test will begin promptly @ 5:00 PM and end at 6:00 PM 

    Medication Administration Exam II: Basic Jr 1 (NRS 329) and ASD sem 2 (NRS 382/384)

    Complete Module A and Module B prior to MAE.

    Report to 2nd floor entrance HHB for check-in @ 6:00 PM with photo ID

    Test will begin promptly @ 6:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM

    Medication Administration Exam III: Basic Sr 1 (NRS 470) and ASD sem 3 (NRS 486)

    Complete Module A, Module B, and Module C prior to MAE.

    Report to 2nd floor entrance HHB for check-in @ 7:30 PM with photo ID

    Test will begin promptly @ 8:00 PM and end @ 9:00 PM

    *All students with OU DSS Fall 2014 accommodations should report to HHB @ 4:30 PM

    OU DSS Fall 2014 accommodation letters must be submitted to Dr. Sarah Newton via OU e-mail at  newton@oakland.edu by no later than 11:00 AM, September 3, 2014.

    Students must achieve a score of 90 % or higher on the MAE to satisfy the School of Nursing MAE requirement.  Students who do not achieve a minimum score of 90% on the MAE first attempt will be notified by e-mail.

    Students who do not achieve a minimum score of 90% on the MAE first attempt may not attend any clinical experiences until they have been successful on the MAE.

    The MAE re-take for students (ASD & Basic-BSN) who do not achieve the minimum score of 90% on the MAE first attempt will be communicated at the time the MAE is given.
