| Friday, January 26, 2013 Alumni Welcome Reception 5-8 p.m. Meadow Brook Hall Join fell Oakland University alumni during this elegant evening reception at the "home" of OU, Meadow Brook Hall. Enjoy appetizers and a cash bar while reconnecting with friends and former classmates. Tours of the Hall will also be available. This event is free, but space is limited, so register now. Human Relations Award Recipients and Board of Trustees Student Liaison Reunion 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Oakland Center, Heritage and Oakland Rooms Recipients of the Human Relations Award and OU students who served as liaisons to the Board of Trustees are invited back to campus for a first-ever reunion to get reacquainted with one another and OU.
Young Alumni, Fraternities and Sororities Alumni Reunion, and Varsity O Reunion Tailgate Party 1-4:30 p.m. P16 Parking Lot What's a Homecoming game without a tailgate? Enjoy delicious tailgate food and friendly fun while reuniting with friends. More Information
Center for Multicultural Initiatives and Black Alumni Social 1-4:30 p.m. Oakland Center, Gold Rooms Members of the Oakland University Black Alumni Chapter and friends are invited to participate in this social to reconnect with one another while participating in the numerous Homecoming activities on campus.
OU Alumni Association Family Festival 2-4:30 p.m. Campus Recreation Center This family-friendly event is an annual favorite. Enjoy inflatable attractions like the bounce house and bungee run, get your black and gold on at the face-painting booth, and fill up on a tailgate-style food buffet. Spread throughout the lower level of the Recreation Center, the OUAA Family Festival is free to attend and registration is not required.
OU Men's Basketball Game 5-7 p.m. Athletics Center O'rena Gather your Grizzly spirit to cheer on the OU men's basketball team as it hosts Summit League rival Western Illinois University. Mitten toss at halftime; bring mittens to donate. All mittens will go to homeless shelters. To purchase tickets, please visit ougrizzlies.com or call (248) 370-4000.
