Most people tend to work to the very end – paying little attention to their retirement income readiness. Then, they attempt to make a host of decisions under a tight time constraint. Planning for and thriving in retirement takes time, some research and many well thought-out decisions. This seminar will help you to reach your long-term objective of a financially secure retirement. Google Apps New Look
Some of you may have noticed a change to Google Apps, including the calendar and email. Google decided to change to provide a consistent look across all of the Google applications that's clean, simple, and intuitive, and to provide an interface that adjusts to meet your needs. It also wanted to take advantage of newer web technologies in order to further enhance your Google Apps experience.

Google Calendar has seven major changes. The first is the quick add feature, which allows you to quickly add a new appointment to your calendar. The second is minimizing calendar selections. This enables you to hide calendars that you may not want to see, and add calendars that you do want to see. The third adjustment is calendar settings. In the settings you can create a new calendar, browse interesting calendars, and edit your calendars settings. The fourth modification to Google Calendar is the new event indicators. For example, if an event is dimmed that means it is in the past. The fifth change is the calendar icons, which appear when you hover over an event allowing you to find out more information. The new event details window is the sixth change. It allows you to view information at a glance and modify the color of the event. The final change for Google Calendars is the new look for buttons, including the print, refresh, and back commands.

Google Mail has made five major changes to enhance your experience. The first change is that you can now IM, voice and video chat with anyone in your email. The second modification is that you can now have anywhere access to your email. This allows you to be on the road and check your email at the same time. The third change is that you can now sync your Android, iPhone, or Blackberry to your email. Searching and finding emails easily, is the fourth adjustment that Google Mail made. The last modification that Google Mail decided to make is getting less spam. You can now customize your spam protection to help you focus on what is most important.

Google Apps is about further enhancing your experience by making it easier to navigate your calendar and email. For additional information on the new Google Apps changes, Click here.

Online Learning
Microsoft Office 2010: Beginning Access
Nowadays, many jobs that you apply for require you to know how to use some sort of database. Microsoft Access is one of the most popular databases that companies use to collect and organize information. If you have never used a database, but want to gain experience in how to use one, "Microsoft Office 2010 Beginning Access" course is perfect for you. It consists of seven, one hour courses, which take you through all the necessary steps that you need to know in order to use the Access database. It takes you through the basics of Microsoft Access including how to create a new database from scratch or from a template. It shows you how to create tables, forms, queries, and reports, as well as how to manipulate and modify the data in fields.

Coming from someone who has very little experience with Access, this course was easy for me to follow, and is highly recommended to anyone that needs to learn how to use the Microsoft Access database. You can skip over certain topics if you are already familiar with them, and review the ones you need depending on your own personal development. This class is a total of seven hours, but you can pause a session whenever you like, and pick up from where you left off hours later. Overall, this is a very beneficial class that can help you learn the basics of Microsoft Access.
