Local social media leader to discuss marketing potential of Facebook
Sterling Heights, Mich. – Facebook can be tricky, yet necessary, in today's business world. At a Macomb-OU INCubator Lunch and Launch event set for Thursday, June 7, decorated executive creative director and social media strategist Mike McClure will help area business professionals learn to tackle and get the best out of this advantageous marketing resource.
McClure, who handles all social media for The Yaffe Group and its clients, has been at the forefront of social media since it began. He is the current president and a founding member of the Detroit chapter of the Social Media Club. He is also on the editorial board for the international Social Media Club, regularly contributes the latest industry insights to their blogs and maintains his own blog at yaffetidbitsblog.com.
In this Lunch and Launch, McClure will inform attendees how to use Facebook to enhance personal, business and brand success. His tenure as a creative leader in the advertising industry brings a solid marketing base to new media practices. He has worked with some of the largest brands in the world – from automotive and retail to media and financial industries.
The free lecture, set for noon to 1 p.m. at the Macomb-OU INCubator, will include a question and answer period. Attendees should bring their own lunch, though beverages will be provided.
