Sculptor Marshall Fredericks claimed that the slender "Saints and Sinners" were true labors of love.  To him they represented good, evil, knowledge of good and evil, temptation, a saint of the church, a mother and a child, and a warrior saint.  Oakland University has the privilege of showcasing this beautiful piece right outside the Kresge Library.

The Total Employee and Management Source (TEAMS)/PeopleAdmin System Integrates with the OU NetID Account System.
In an effort to streamline our login process to the Total Employee and Management Source (TEAMS)/PeopleAdmin system, the TEAMS system will be integrated with the OU NetID account system. This change will take effect shortly. For those of you who have access to the system, watch for an email advising you to this change.

When notified, you will log into the TEAMS system at https://jobs.oakland.edu/hr and you will enter the same NetID user name and password which you currently use for email. The system will use the same authentication from that point forward.

If you are a new employee, or current employee, who has not created an account, you can go to the TEAMS site noted above and create a new user account using your NetID user name and password. If you are a new employee, please note that this site is different from the applicant site and does require you to create a new user account.

If you have any questions, please contact the Employment Services Office at X3480.

*New course* Making a Positive Impression in an Internal Interview
Interviewing for a new job can be stressful. You can easily get caught up in the anxiety of wondering what the interview questions will be, what answers you should give, and how to leave a positive impression. This can get even worse when the interview is for an opportunity in your current organization, as you try to answers questions about your work from those who know your work well.
You can relax though. Throughout this course you'll be shown how you can leverage your experience and internal knowledge to make a positive impression during your interview. Through techniques for meeting expectations and displaying your competence, you'll learn how to make a positive impression and connect with the interviewers' perspective. It's important to show them you're the right person for the challenges and responsibilities of the role, and it all starts with making a positive impression during your interview.

Online Learning
SkillSoft: Getting Started with Word 2007
Microsoft Office is a program that most of us use everyday. The software is capable of creating
almost anything we could need in our professional and personal lives. The creativity and the
possibilities are almost endless. The software has several different programs that are super
user friendly and offers help in all different aspects; the program will actually teach you how to
create and do all types of things which is great!

I took this course after taking the SkillCheck test offered through UHR and I could not believe
what I did not know. I was and still am determined to master this software because it is
probably the most used software across the world, not to mention something I don't go a
day without! I learned a bunch of new tricks and shortcuts and was even able to teach my
supervisor some tricks she didn't know. I would recommend this course to everyone who uses
this software on a daily basis because I am positive that you will learn something you did not
already know.
