Priority Health HMO Qualification Changes
Priority Health is changing the process for new 2014 enrollees and those who are in the Standard level of benefits as of Dec 31, 2013. Below is a description of the process that will be in place for 2014.
Note: existing members at the Choice level in 2013 will continue in Choice in 2014 without having to meet the requirements.
- Current members in the Standard level as of December 31, 2013 and new members will start in the Standard level and have 90 days to meet their Health by Choice Achievement requirements (online Health Risk Appraisal and doctor's visit to complete the Qualification Form).
- If the member qualifies for the Choice level any time during that 90 day period they will immediately be moved to the Choice level retroactive back to 1/1/14. Priority will pull a daily report identifying these individuals, manually move them to the Choice level and reprocess any claims incurred since 1/1/14.
- At the end of the 90 day qualification period anyone that is still in Standard will remain there until they meet their requirements at a later date.

|Managing Workforce Generations: Working with the 21st-century Generation Mix |
Many of the same influences have shaped the lives and work experiences of the newer generations – the Millennials and the Generation Xers. Widespread Internet usage, for example, means that, typically, these generations are adept in technology. Globalization is another shaping influence, with the result that both generations value diversity. At the same time, however, each generation has its own distinct attitudes, priorities, and work habits. By using strategies that recognize the differences, managers can get the best from each generation. This course describes best practices and successful techniques for managing Millennial and Generation X employees.
