Join us for a poetry slam on Thursday, November 1, at 7 p.m. on the 4th floor of the library. Sponsored by Kresge Library, in collaboration with Auburn Hills Public Library, we invite students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding communities to join us in this performance-based literary art form. This event is an "open mike" format; beginners are encouraged to come! Food and refreshments will be served. Each year, more alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Oakland University decide to make a difference by supporting Kresge Library. Just last year, almost 200 donors made commitments of more than $60,000.
