Poetry Slam
Join us for a poetry slam on Thursday, November 1, at 7 p.m. on the 4th floor of the library. Sponsored by Kresge Library, in collaboration with Auburn Hills Public Library, we invite students, faculty, staff and members of the surrounding communities to join us in this performance-based literary art form. This event is an "open mike" format; beginners are encouraged to come! Food and refreshments will be served. There will be a $100 gift card prize for the winner, and a $50 gift card for the runner-up. For more information, contact Anne Switzer at switzer2@oakland.edu.
