Oakland University students, faculty and staff are invited to partake in food and festivities at the International Summer Picnic. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19, outdoors between the bookstore entrance of the Oakland Center and Bear Lake.

Guests are welcome to sample international and traditional food and enjoy a live performance by Mark Stone and the Southpaw Isle Steel Band. There will also be games and activities, including inflatable obstacle courses and caricature and wax hands booths.

The picnic is free and open to the Oakland community. In the event of rain, the event will be relocated to the Gold Rooms of the Oakland Center.

The picnic is sponsored by the International Students and Scholars Office, the International Allies Organization, German Club, American Computing Machinery, Pakistani Students’ Association, Hand in Hand, French Club, China Club, Lebanese Club, Student Program Board and the Albanian American Student Organization.
