Collection

The Medical Library's collection is mainly electronic, comprising thousands of online books, journals and databases. Key resources include: AccessMedicine, MDConsult, Micromedex and UpToDate. There is also a reserve collection of print textbooks and anatomical models, conveniently located in the Medical Library Study Room. The collection is tightly integrated with the curriculum and is selected in close collaboration with the school's faculty.

Instructional Program

The library has a robust “Information Mastery” instructional program that is threaded throughout the curriculum. Content is presented at the time of need and is integrated in such courses as Capstone, APM, Neuroscience and EBM. The library also offers a series of extra-curricular “Lunch ‘n Learn” sessions for students, as well as informal “Brown Bag” sessions and a CME series for faculty.
