Nearly 500 established companies in Macomb County are currently performing defense contract business, accounting for almost 65% of Michigan’s total defense work. From 2000 to 2007, defense was more than a $16 billion dollar industry for the county. Known as the “Arsenal of Defense,” Macomb County has the workforce, experience, knowledge and resources to strive in a competitive industry.

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING

Over 60% of Michigan’s advanced manufacturing employment is located in the 8 county Southeast Michigan region. With an existing manufacturing base and capabilities in Macomb County, advanced manufacturing is a great fit for the INCubator.
