Jennifer Law-Sullivan came to Oakland University in the Fall of 2004; She teaches all levels of French language and literature, including nineteenth-century French literature, European literature in translation, and translation from French into English; Her publications on Germaine de Staƫl and Flora Tristan examine how these women writers dealt with issues of gender, slavery, and nation-building.
