Residence Halls Association
Welcome First Year Students!

As we put the last school year behind us and plan for what’s ahead, I would like to personally welcome you to the upcoming school year at Oakland University! As new students, it’s important to make the most of the next four years and one of the best ways to do that is to get involved on campus. OU provides endless opportunities from study groups, student led activities, campus wide jobs, intramural sports, clubs, and various organizations.

The major organization of the residence halls is the RHA or Residence Halls Association. RHA is the governing body of OU Housing; in plain terms, we are the voice. We vote on important issues about the living communities and policies, host large scaled programs, and discuss any concerns of the students. It’s a great way to meet new people, create new memories, and make a difference at Oakland University!

Best of luck on your first year!

Best regards,

RHA Executive Board
