Housing Ambassador Position Description
The Housing Ambassador program encourages student engagement and involvement in the marketing and recruitment plan of University Housing. Housing Ambassadors interact with prospective and incoming students during admissions and orientation events, or other events designed to recruit prospective students. Students will be trained to perform housing presentations and tours that accurately and enthusiastically represent the housing department. Events include New Student Orientation, Overnight Orientation, Parent Orientation, Transfer Open House, Go for the Gold, and daily housing tours.
Housing Ambassador Expectations
Housing Ambassadors are expected to:
- Be on time to all Housing Ambassador events
- Act as a positive representative for the Department of University Housing
- Engage prospective students and parent
- Remain in good standing while living on campus
Housing Ambassadors must be available on the following days:

If you are interested in becoming in Housing Ambassador for the Summer 2013 semester, please complete the Housing Ambassador Application and return it to Kelly Garnett in the University Housing Office (448 Hamlin Hall) by February 28, 2013.
