Banner and Admnet Password Resets

Banner Password Resets  Updated March 2016

1.) Go to the Banner homepage, located at:  /uts/common-good-core-resources/banner-services-menu/
2.) Click on the link for " Banner - Unlock Account/Password Reset "
3.) Fill out the form, dependent on what you are trying to accomplish:
        - Date of Birth
        - First and Last Name
        - Type of Access: Prod
        - Select either "Unlock Account" or "Password Set/Reset"
4.) Complete the Captcha at the bottom of the form, and click submit.

5.) When given the option, select "Select or Answer Question".
6.) If this is an account unlock, answering the security question correctly will complete the action.  If this is a password reset, the next screen will allow the user to select a new password, and confirm that password.
**NOTE:  If an individual submits a Banner Password Reset form (previous method) to UTS, they will receive instructions (from UTS) to use this new portal to accomplish their request.**

You can change your Banner password within Banner using the following steps:

  1. Log into internet-based Banner.
  2. Under "My Links" select "change password"
  3. Enter your current password, then new password and click submit.

If the above process does not work to reset your Banner password, you must complete the Banner Unlock Account/Password Reset form found at https://forms.oakland.edu/default.aspx

You will be contacted via email and telephone when the password is reset. To pick up the new password, bring a picture ID to Operations at 220 Dodge Hall.
