Stacey L. Hahn joined Oakland University in 1991 and since that time has been teaching a variety of courses ranging from French language, literature, French translation into English, Business French, and European Literature in Translation in the Department of Modern Languages to courses in French Cinema for the Honors College and the Masters in Liberal Studies Program. Her principle field of research is medieval French literature with a special emphasis on prose romance, in particular the Lancelot-Grail Cycle and the Roman de Mélusine. As coordinator of the Oakland University / University of Orléans exchange program Professor Hahn enjoys preparing students for the challenges and joys of study abroad. She also enjoys her role as K-12 advisor for those students wishing to pursue a career teaching French in the public schools. Professor Hahn likes traveling to francophone countries and sharing her experiences with students.
