Students are encouraged to plan ahead and submit your manuscript as early as possible to ensure ample time for necessary revisions. Delay in submission will result in postponement of your graduation date. Appointments can go quickly, so it is recommended that you email to reserve an appointment time that fits your schedule.

Prepare for your meeting with the Coordinator by reviewing the Graduate Study website for procedures and the Guide to the Preparation of Theses and Dissertations and the Format Checklist for manuscript format. Every thesis and dissertation must be formatted as outlined in the Thesis and Dissertation Guidelines.

Professional or practice-based doctoral programs culminate in the completion of a terminal doctoral research project rather than a dissertation. DNP and DScPT students submitting a doctoral research project must comply with the format style manual approved by the discipline for journal publication AND the general format requirements outlined in the doctoral research project guidelines on the Graduate Study website.
