The purpose of the Jacqueline I. Lougheed Research Fund awards is to provide annual cash awards to full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty and doctoral students throughout Oakland University to support research related to Women in Education or Women in Leadership. Preference will be given to applications from the School of Education and Human Services. However, applications will be accepted from all disciplines.
The School of Education and Human Services Research Support Committee will select the most qualified candidate(s) for the award by early February, 2014 according to the rubric. Awards will range from $500 - $2,000 annually and are renewable. SEHS faculty may apply for this award in addition to the SEHS Investigative Activities Awards.

Outline the major milestones to support your narrative. Research is expected to be completed within one year of receipt of funds. List the month and year when research and/or activities will be taking place.
A research report and detailed budget of expenses incurred must be submitted to SEHS Assistant Dean within 13 months of receipt of funds.
