Mobile technology devices, such as iPads and smartphones, offer great tools for capturing and delivering multimedia content.  Representatives from Apple will show you how to use simple tools on the iPad to create movies in just a few steps, and also show a free tool available on the Mac to author your own engaging, media-rich electronic books.
These tools can help enable families impacted by autism to create their own social stories and training videos to help teach and engage individuals with autism.  OUCARES will have iPads for attendees to use for the evening, but please feel free to bring your own technology.

This event is designed for anyone interested in learning about how to use technological tools to help people with ASD, especially educators, social workers, parents, and caregivers.

RSVP by emailing oucares@oakland.edu or call 248-370-2424.

There is no cost however donations to support OUCARES are always welcome.
