Oakland University is honored to host Dr. Jane Goodall, a British primatologist, ethologist, anthropologist, and UN Messenger of Peace. She is considered to be the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees. She will be speaking at Oakland University on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., in the O'rena of the Recreation and Athletics Center. This is a ticketed event. Dr. Jane Goodall's lecture is presented as part of the Varner Vitality Seminar Series, named in honor of Oakland's first chancellor, Durwood "Woody" Varner. This series aims to energize and sustain the highest academic and scholarly aspirations of the university community.
