Mark Stone, Lesley-Anne Stone, Issa Sall and Miguel Gutierrez present original compositions and arrangements for steel drums. While rooted in Caribbean pan tradition, Southpaw Isle continually stretches the steelband sound. The group's repertoire is shaped by a wide range of musical traditions, including American jazz, Brazilian samba, and Trinidadian calypso. The group has presented numerous workshops, assemblies, and concerts, including the world premiere of "A Caribbean Christmas Mass" for orchestra, chorus, and steelband.
