 ogram is offered through the\nOakland University's School of Nursing-Continu
 ing Education. This\nprogram is currently being offered at The Riverview Ins
 titute of Oakland\nUniversity at one of the most technologically advanced me
 dical training\nfacilities in the state. This course provides basic fundamen
 tal nursing\nskills, and state certification as a Nursing Assistant. Wage ra
 tes for\nCNA's range from $12-$14 per hour.</div>\n<div><br />\n</div>\n<div
 >This course will introduce the theory and techniques involved with\nthe rol
 e of the Nurse Assistant. As a nurse assistant, you will perform\nthe tasks 
 given to you by the nurse. After you finish the training\nprogram, you will 
 be able to perform the following hands-on patient care\nprocedures with supe
 rvision in the following areas:</div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n    <li>Daily care inclu
 ding: bathing, feeding, and dressing</li>\n    <li>Vital Sign Measurement</l
 i>\n    <li>ROM exercises</li>\n    <li>Admit, transfer, and patient dischar

 en collection</li>\n    <li>Care of the dying person</li>\n    <li>Post surg
