The role of a father in the life of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder is extremely important. Phil Zupon, an adult with Autism, will be discussing the role his father has played in his own life during childhood, his teenage years, his college years, and where he is today. During parts of Phil’s story, his father will share his own perspectives of his son’s life and about his own role as a father to a child with Autism. In Phil’s own words, “I wouldn’t be where I am in life without him.”
This event is designed for children of all ages, adolescents, families, educators, and any person who is interested in learning about how important dads can be in the life of a child with ASD. Space is limited so please RSVP by emailing email@example.com or call 248-370-2424.
There is no cost to attend this presentation and donations are always welcome.
This workshop fits within OUCARES’ Evening Enrichment series of discussions with experts in the field of autism. Through this series, OUCARES hopes to give families the chance to gain valuable information about programs and services available for those with ASD.
