Internationally renowned early music singer and lutenist Joel Frederiksen brings the mythical figure of Orpheus to vivid life in a critically-acclaimed program which features repertoire from the late Renaissance and Early Baroque in England, France, and Italy. Mr. Frederiksen, who completed his master’s degree at Oakland University, was called “a uniquely gifted singer” by David Vernier on classicstoday.com. Also playing lute will be Lyle Nordstrom, one of the country’s most influential early music exponents, who has been a committed mentor to new generations of early music performers.

$20 general, $10 students
