Jonathan Ovalle, Dan Piccolo, and Mark Stone are three percussionists steeped in Western classical and jazz traditions, but each has immersed himself in the musical traditions of other cultures. For this special concert, Jonathan, Dan and Mark will bring together their knowledge of these traditions to create a truly unique musical dialogue. The evening will showcase percussion instruments that are rarely heard in combination, and will feature original compositions as well as new arrangements of traditional repertoire.
