New first-year students who are attending Oakland University in the summer semester must attend a First-Year Student Group Orientation. During a small group orientation students will activate their OU e-mail and SAIL accounts, learn how to register for courses, meet with an academic adviser and register for classes. oakland.edu/orientation. Students will need their Grizzly ID, found in their acceptance letter, in order to sign up online.
