Many other options are possible. This table shows only one of many ways to complete a philosophy degree in three years. The model assumes a student takes Introduction to Philosophy (PHL 101) in the first term. Although most students majoring in philosophy in three years will begin with a 100-level class, it need not be 101. The student should know that 204 is taught every fall term and 206 and 465 every winter term. The term “elective” may not be completely “free” in that this table does not address the university requirement of having 32 credits at the 300/400 level.
Please note: Student on scholarship or financial aid must be in a minimum of 12 credits per semester
