Hybrid or blended teaching is generally defined as a course planned to take place partially online and partially in the brick-and-mortar classroom. But as we’ve experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, we may need to pivot to online unexpectedly for a variety of reasons. Learning outcomes:

  • Identify Moodle tools that could facilitate engaging online activities
  • Evaluate commonly used online learning activities, such as discussion forums and live online sessions (e.g. WebEx)
