What is a Career Development Facilitator (CDF)?
| A Career Development Facilitator (CDF) is a person who works in any career development setting or who incorporates career development information or skills in their work with students, adults, clients, employees, or the public. A CDF completes at least 120 instructional hours training which is taught by a nationally trained and qualified instructor. |

| NCDA provides individuals with relevant skills and knowledge to assist others in planning careers and obtaining meaningful work. Established in 1913, NCDA is the premier provider of professional development in the career field. NCDA has prepared over 18,000 CDFs for inter/national certification. |

The curriculum is currently delivered in two formats, either classroom plus online content or eLearning.
CDF Livonia, Macomb and Troy combine online and in-class meetings.
eLearning CDF is delivered online with four required Saturday sessions on campus. |

CDF certificate program: $1065.

Non-credit Enrollment Refund Policy and Important Semester Dates
| The $195 course pack is covered in the program cost and is non-refundable. The course pack includes the program binder, student manual, DVD, and assessments. |
CEUs
| Students who successfully complete this CDF training will receive a certificate of completion earning 12 National Board Certified Counselors (NBCC) CEUs, equivalent to 120 continuing education hours. Oakland University is an approved NBCC continuing education provider. |
