Minor in Applied Technology in Business
Coordinator: Kieran Mathieson (mathieso@oakland.edu)
Take business students from any major. Accounting, marketing, MIS...
Give them special IT courses. Hands-on. With personal attention from expert instructors.
Work on projects for real companies. Coached by faculty.
Make a special team. People who help and respect each other.
Business students do the ATiB program in their junior and senior years. They take one course per semester, plus project work. ATiBers earn a business minor, an extra qualification that goes on their degrees. Companies pay tuition for all ATiB courses.
Employers love ATiBers. ATiB grads know their major area (accounting, HRM, whatever). They can bring IT into those areas, because they understand both the business function and the IT.
See the ATiB site for more information.
