Audience
| General and special education teachers, administrators and staff who support instruction |
Course Objectives
- Introduce students to a wide array of instructional and assistive technology tools and their benefit to learners with disabilities
- Relate assistive technology assessment to individual student planning, including methods for evaluating technology effectiveness
- Relate instructional technology, including Universal Design for Learning principles, to instructional planning in all content areas
- Technology tools to support reading, writing, math, communication, computer access, organization and studying will be covered
