Back Home: A Tale of a Warrior's Battle

Veterans Movie The Student Veterans of Oakland University and the Veteran Support Service Office are proud to present an exclusive viewing of the film "Back Home: A Tale of a Warrior's Tale," which will take place on Monday, January 28,2013, starting at 5:30 p.m., in Banquet Room B, located in the Oakland Center. This documentary film deals with the transition many of our American troops encounter when they come home from war. Admission is free for all students, faculty, staff and alumni. Appetizers will be provided at 5:00 p.m. This documentary will heighten campus awareness to the problems that many veterans face in the classroom, community and family. We are fortunate that the film's producer, Cornelius Porter III, will be present to dialogue with the audience after the viewing. We encourage you attend and invite others.
