Join Neighborhood Service Organization (NSO) and Oakland University School of Health Sciences
for a free exhibit featuring photos from the NSO/Bell-OU PhotoVoice Project. This project engaged 17 tenants of the Bell Building, a permanent, supportive housing site for formerly homeless adults.
PhotoVoice is a research methodology that uses participatory photography to empower people to tell their stories through photos. The photos in this exhibit represent factors that impact the health and wellness of the NSO Bell Building tenants.
- The first exhibit will be in the 4th floor lobby of the Human Health Building at Oakland University on Monday, June 16 from noon - 1:30 p.m.
- The second exhibit will be in the lobby of the Bell Building on Tuesday, June 24 from 4 - 7 p.m.
The PhotoVoice project was funded by Oakland University and the Oakland University Prevention Research Center.
Both events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
