Judd Award Visiting Artist Jody Zellen Lecture

In "From Screen to Space" Jody Zellen will talk about the relationship between the public and private viewing experiences of installation and screen based works. The projects she will discuss include her interactive installations "Time Jitters" a commission for the Halsey Institute, at the College of Charleston, SC, 2014, "The Unemployed" presented at Disseny Hub Museum in Barcelona in 2011 and "The Blackest Spot" created for Fringe Exhibitions in Los Angeles in 2008. She will relate these installations to some of her netart projects as well as to her free mobile apps "Urban Rhythms," "Spine Sonnet," "4 Square," and "Episodic."
Jody Zellen is a Los Angeles based artist who works in many media simultaneously making interactive installations, mobile apps, net art, animations, drawings, paintings, photographs, public art, and artists' books.
