Filming Shakespeare Behind Bars

Oakland University will screen the award-winning documentary “Shakespeare Behind Bars,” which follows the casting, rehearsal, and presentation of Shakespeare's play, "The Tempest," by convicted felons inside Kentucky's Luther Luckett Correctional Complex. The film screening is to be followed by a question and answer session with Theatre Directors Curt Tofteland, Tom Magill, and OU Professor Niels Herold. This event is sponsored by The College of Arts and Sciences and The Judd Family Endowment. Admission is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
