Autism Anti-Bullying Event with Anthony Ianni
2/26/2013, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Anthony Ianni was diagnosed with PDD-NOS (Autism Spectrum Disorder) as a child and faced immense amounts of bullying while growing up. He was told by medical specialists that he would never be able to graduate high school or become a successful athlete and he proved them wrong. Anthony graduated from Michigan State University in 2012 and played basketball under coach Tom Izzo to help the Spartans win the Big 10 Conference Championship in 2012. He now works for the Autism Alliance of Michigan to promote autism safety through anti-bullying and autism awareness.
This event is designed for children of all ages, adolescents, families, educators and any person who is interested in ending bullying.
