Video

We produce a variety of marketing videos for the university — from award-winning television spots to videos that showcase departmental services.

If your client requests a video, make sure you make the final determination that a video is, indeed, the best approach to take for their specific goal. If it is, meet with Bryan to:
  • Discuss the project plan (including concept, script, filming locations, student actors, etc.)
  • Create an implementation plan (where the video will post, end goals, etc.)
  • Determine which videographer is appropriate (we usually create short promotional videos for a specific department or school. OU's Video Services department also offers a complete suite of video production services).
After all these details are worked out, you may open a job in C&P. Remember to change the status code to 110-Video, New Job Opened so the appropriate UCM person is alerted.  View step-by-step instructions for the video process.

If your client has already produced a video and needs help promoting it, talk to the Web team for ideas (they may post it to OU's YouTube channel, suggest a web banner, etc.). Of course, you'll want to make sure the video quality and content is to our high standards before agreeing to promote.
