 Ami Harbin

Ami is Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Women and Gender Studies starting August 2012.  Her research interests are in areas of feminist philosophy, health care ethics, and moral psychology.  Her current projects focus on disorientation and ethics, and bioethical questions surrounding queer sexualities, mental health, and palliative care.  In the fall, Ami will teach Feminist Theory in Women and Gender Studies and Bioethics in the philosophy department.

Kathy Patterson-Hawes

Degrees:  M.L. S. in Liberal Studies in Women's Studies at Eastern Michigan University and B.G.S. in General Studies with a concentration in Women's Studies at Oakland University.

Kathy teaches "Introduction to Women and Gender Studies" in the Women and Gender Studies Program.  She will teach a new course "Global Women, Global Issues" in the fall of 2012.

Sue Rumph

Degrees:  Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Wayne State University with a concentration in Women's Studies

Sue was actively involved with the Women's Studies Program at Wayne State serving on the Advisory Board, founding the Women's Student Organization, as well as teaching "Introduction to Women's Studies" and Women and Race Relations."  She currently teaches "Introduction to Women and Gender Studies" at Oakland.
