Keeper of the Dream Scholarship Awards Celebration
Monday, January 17, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.
This event is free and open to all.

African American Celebration 2011 begins Monday, January 17 at 11:30 am with the annual Keeper of the Dream Scholarship Awards Celebration. The month long celebration concludes on Thursday, February 17 at 5:00 p.m. with The Psychedelic Shack - A 70s Party.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!

Become an OU Rockstar! We are looking for students who want to be leaders and representatives of Oakland University! Attend an information session to learn how to become a CMI Peer Mentor, Orientation Group Leader (OGL), Resident Assistant, or Nightwatch staff member. The application deadline is Friday, January 28 so don't wait!

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!

2011 WILSON AND HUMAN RELATIONS AWARDS

It is time to begin the selection process for the 2011 Matilda R. Wilson/Alfred G. Wilson and Human Relations Award!  The Wilson Awards were established in 1965 and recognize one female and one male graduating senior who have contributed as scholars, leaders, and responsible citizens to the Oakland University Community. For more information or to access the nomination forms, visit www.oakland.edu/?id=1307&sid=74.All nominations must be returned by Monday, February 7, 2011, to the Dean of Students Office, 144 Oakland Center.

OAKLAND UNIVERSITY ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The 2011 OUAA Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications for nearly 30 scholarships that benefit students and alumni. Most scholarships are open to any undergraduate student with junior or senior status by fall 2011. Scholarship recipients must have two or more full-time semesters remaining in their academic program and must have a 3.0 GPA in their major field of study as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA at OU. For a complete list of student scholarships please visit OUAA Student Scholarship Program. As of January 1, 2011, students are able to complete their FAFSA online to apply for financial aid for the 2011-2012 academic year.
