ANNOUNCING: The new TEAMS system is live!
The University Human Resources team is excited to announce a completely new TEAMS - Total Employee And Management Source. The new TEAMS system used for staff applicant tracking and recruiting, position descriptions and performance management will provide many advantages to both internal users as well as external applicants. See just a few of the advantages below:
Those of you who currently use the faculty hiring system may find the new TEAMS system to look very familiar to you, as we are merging with the faculty system. For others, this site will look totally different. Keep in mind that the initial processes will not change. The look of the new system will be very different. This merger will allow the university to use one version and one service contract.
- Enhanced functionality to source candidates and screen out applicants.
- More efficient and effective recruiting process.
- A "Save" feature for every page, as you move from page to page.
- A "spell check" option.
The following FAQ's will help you find your way as we transition from the old system and onto the new system.

A: The redirect link for the old site is https://PA178.peopleadmin.com/hr This link is also available on the new site after you log in.
Q: What if I am having trouble loading these pages?
A: System users should clear their cache and their cookies. Bookmarks will need to be updated.
Q: Whom should I contact if I have questions or problems?

HIRING SUPERVISORQ: How can I find the position I posted recently?
A: Following this link will take you to all positions that were active prior to May 20, 2014. https://PA178.peopleadmin.com/hr
Q: When must I have my position filled?
A: All positions posted prior to May 20, 2014 must be filled by Monday, June 30, 2014.
Q: What if I don't fill an open position by June 30, 2014?
A: If you are unable to fill your open position by June 30, 2014, please contact the Employment Services Office for further details.
Q: How can I upgrade or create new position descriptions?

Q: How can I post a new position opening?
A: Contact the Employment Services Office at ext. 3480 for information and training.
Q: I rely on the Manager's Toolkit when I have to fill a position. Will the Toolkit be changed soon?
A: We are making every effort to update all training materials as soon as possible.

EMPLOYEESQ: How can I find my performance evaluation for 2013-2014?

Q: I want to enter my goals for the 2014-2015 evaluation. Where can I do this?
A: You and your supervisor should develop your goals soon. Retain them in a word processing document at this time.
Q: When will training be available on the new performance evaluation tool?
A: Training will be scheduled for July 2014 on navigating the new system for performance management. Please stay tuned for announcements.
FACULTY SEARCHQ: Where do I log in to work on my posting or view my applicants?
A: The new administrative site for PeopleAdmin is at https://jobs.oakland.edu/hr/. Please bookmark this site.
Q: Where do I direct applicants to apply?

Q: What happens to the links in outside advertising?
A: A redirect from the old academic jobs URL to the new one is being set up. If you used a quick link in your ad ( for example, http://academicjobs.oakland.edu/postings/000), please contact the publication and have them update the ad to reflect https://jobs.oakland.edu/
