The Commercialization Breakfast Panel provides an overview of how to grow your company from a pre-revenue position to profitability - including the key components of market analysis, customer development, product development, resource identification, profitable business model development, business plan development and capital funding. Mike Brennan will speak on obtaining capital for businesses during the commercialization process. Other panelists include Francis Criqui, Robert Horvath, James Masiak, Margaret Palmer and John Rupp Sr., all from Technology Highway.

Mike Brennan is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur with 26 years experience involving both growth and start-up organizations. In early 2007, Mike founded Business Growth Sciences (BGS) to provide executive coaching, strategic visioning, planning and funding services primarily for early stage technology companies. In November 2007, Mike became a partner in a Michigan-based Broker Dealer and Investment Advisory firm; providing alternative financing, venture capital and public offering consultation. In January 2010, Mike merged BGS operations with Peak Blue Ventures, a Michigan-based consultancy firm, specializing in senior management consultation and mergers and acquisitions. In November 2011, Mike joined The Macomb-OU INCubator as Director of Commercialization and Senior Investment Advisor. Mike is a graduate of the University of Detroit Jesuit; 1982. Western Michigan University, Psychology, Business Administration; 1982-1985. The University of Detroit-Mercy, Cad Design; 1985-1986. The University of Michigan, Entrepreneurial Development; 1989-1990.
