Building Donation
The Oakland Press, Macomb Daily and Crain's Detroit Business reported on the donation of the Towne Square Building in Mount Clemens to Oakland University for a new educational facility in the heart of the city's downtown area. Oakland plans to invest $2 million to convert the 25,000-square-foot office structure into classrooms and offices for faculty and advisers.
