| STUDENT SPOTLIGHT |
 |
|
Yasmine Shitta is a freshman bio-chemistry major and a recipient of the Oakland University Trustee Academic Success (OUTAS) scholarship in the CMI.
Where did you grow up/go to high school? I attended Robichaud High School in Dearborn, Heights, but I didn't live in the area. I grew up in Wayne, MI.
Why did you choose Oakland University? I chose Oakland University because it is close to home, but I am still far away enough from home. Also I like the small campus, but big campus feel. Everything is close enough for me to walk to and it is easier to get to know people.
What are your goals while you are at Oakland University? My goals are to complete all of my classes with a 3.0 or better, establish relationships with people on campus, and graduate in four years or less.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I like to study, shop, eat, and hang with my friends on campus.
